We like to treat ourselves occasionally and buy nice clothes or go out for a nice vacation. You might have even saved money to buy an expensive item like a nice car or house for you or your family. We think that rich people buy the same things but bigger and nicer, which might be true to some extent, but there are some things that rich people buy that we do not even know about. Let’s see what they are…

1. Celebrities

Yes, Celebrities. Rich people can rent celebrities for their parties and other events. We are not talking about musicians or standup comedians. Here, we’re talking about actual film actors and actresses celebrities. Someone in Bel-Air throws a Halloween-themed birthday party for his child every year. One of the attendants said they hired Demi Moore, Anthony Kiedis, and Benicio Del Toro as guests for one of those parties. They pretended to be friends with that kid and just hung around.

2. Jail Time

We’re not talking about buying jail time for themselves but rather paying someone else to take the blame and go to jail instead of them. Yes, this is illegal, but it happens, and most do not even know about it. An individual living in Romania says it is a common practice that mostly the needy and the outlaws know about. He also said that someone received a three-room apartment as a payment for going to jail for three years in place of another rich youngster.

3. Private Banks

You will get a call from your bank’s private banking group once you deposit about three million dollars in your checking account. As believed by another commentator, Rich people do not go to the same branches as other people do. They go through private banking, where they are not put on hold for the banker to pick up the phone, and they can get access to their deposits any day.

4. Smart Homes

Smart homes that rich people have go far beyond the other smart homes that fairly rich people have (this isn’t Alexa and Nest), and it is not new to them, and they have had it for decades. An expert further adds that not only do they control lights and thermostats, they can practically do anything.

5. Kidnapping Insurance

Surprisingly, a commenter said rich people have contingency plans and people readily available for contact in case something like this happens. In case of kidnapping, they would give contact info of kidnapping insurance to the kidnappers, and they handle everything from then on.

6. Time

Think about all the things we do other than work. We spend much of our time doing groceries, cleaning, traveling in buses and trains, cooking, and many other things that rich people simply do not have to do. An internet surfer said these things might seem small but collectively take up much of our time. This is probably the most valuable thing they can get, regardless of how finite it may be.

7. Pet Cloning

This sounds like something right out of a science fiction movie, but this is a real thing that rich people do. Experts believe that it could take up to four weeks, but there are companies that provide pet cloning services, and they will clone your pets, but it could cost anything between twenty-five to fifty thousand dollars.

8. Luxury Ice Cubes

I know this sounds ridiculous (and it probably is), but some companies sell luxury ice cubes. People believe this type of ice is colder and melts slower than regular ice, keeping your drink cold without diluting it. It costs around three hundred and twenty-five dollars for forty pieces for a few cubes to pour into your drink.

9. College Admissions

This one is a bit tricky as people cannot just straight up buy college admissions. Some millionaires have been caught for bribery and cheating in exams, but that is not the only way to get college admission. An educationist said that billionaires tend to donate large amounts of money to colleges. If you take a closer look, the donations get a lot bigger the year their child gets admission to their university or college.

10. Citizenship

It makes sense that governments want to take in large sums of money any way they can. With large enough donations and proper paperwork, you can get citizenship in almost any country. An individual working in immigration says there are also subtle ways of getting citizenship because if you have enough money, the government would generally turn a blind eye.

11. Organs

An American native believes that we would have to wait for two to five years for an organ transplant procedure to take place. Rich people who donate regularly to hospitals can get ahead in the line and get a transplant whenever needed, and the poor have to wait patiently till their turn comes.

Would you like to have nice weather for your wedding? Well, for a hundred thousand dollars, you can. A tech enthusiast elaborated that he will not go into the details of how they do it, but there are certain companies that provide weather modifications to high-paying customers to modify their functions.
